Facebook, the world's second most visited website seems to be gaining ground on just about every part of the internet. Figures released recently by ComScore show for Q3 show that the social network is now leading the display advertising market, showing more ads than the next four networks combined. The site has become known for its attitude towards the privacy of its members, which seems to simply be based on a strategy of 'what can we get away with?'. It's been reported that production company Groundswell Productions have bought the rights to last year's Google biopic, Google: The End of the World as We Know It. Following in the footsteps of the Facebook movie The Social Network scheduled for later this year, it's interesting to see the stories of some of the world's biggest and most important companies told in such a transparent way. We're used to seeing films about famous people and events, but now we're going to be seeing a film about.... our favourite search engine.
