Don't waste your money on useless clicks!

Pay per click ('PPC') is a great way to advertise, particularly enticing when Google hands out vouchers for free advertising. People click on your ads, they come to your site and buy. But if they don't, the click was in some senses 'wasted', unless you consider all exposure as good exposure anyway! Sometimes, we come across the fear that rogue elements can easily engage in 'click fraud', clicking on your ads with no real intention of following through and simply running up your advertising bill with more useless clicks. Whilst on a trawl through our website analytics data this month, I noticed that we get quite a few hits from people searching for "polaris dealers leeds".  This puzzled me a bit; what's 'polaris', and why are people looking at our website to get hold of one?  With a bit of investigation, I found out that Polaris is an ATV (all terrain vehicle) manufacturer, and because the name of our company is WSI Polaris Digital, we're coming up in searches by people who are interested in ATVs.   Read More...
